Señorío de San Vicente

The Eguren family has always shown great respect for its land and with the Señorío de San Vicente estate its aim has been to revive an almost extinct indigenous variety: the Tempranillo Peludo (literally 'Hairy', referring to the underside of the leaf). Señorío de San Vicente is, effectively, a project founded on the idea of producing a single wine, originating from a single vineyard (Finca La Canoca, an 18 ha site) and made from a single variety.

The winery is located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a village lying in a privileged position between the mountains of the Sierra de Cantabria and the banks of the River Ebro.
