Podere Le Ripi

As an authentic expression of the terroir and Sangiovese of this south-eastern strip of Montalcino, Le Ripi has, in just a few years, established itself as the standard of the biodynamic Brunello. Born in the early 2000s from intuition and passion of Francesco Illy, the famous coffee family, Podere sees biodynamic as a production philosophy focused on respect for the territory without any quality compromise. Which is demonstrated by the experiments of the "bonsai vineyard", with very high density (62,500 plants/hectare), and the "golden cellar", based on the proportions of the classic golden section and a circular "pantheon" used for refining.
