Lácrima Baccus

Bodega Lácrima Baccus is the legacy of Cavas Lavernoya, founded in 1890 by the Raventós Poch family, who honoured its name after the Anoia River and its tributary Lavernó, Lavernoya. It is one of the oldest wineries in the Penedès region and is renowned for its production of Cava, one of the country's most important sparkling wines. It operates under the DO Cava and DO Penedès designations of origin. On its 20 hectares of vineyards, it grows both native grape varieties such as Macabeo and Xarel·lo, as well as international varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The winery focuses on sustainable practices and a combination of traditional and innovative methods. Its cavas are appreciated for reflecting the essence of the Penedès terroir and its dedication to quality.

Today, Lácrima Baccus is part of the Bardinet group.
