Bodegas Hispano-Suizas

Bodegas Hispano-Suizas is the personal project of Marc Grin (wine producer and business director), Pablo Ossorio (oenologist) and Rafael Navarro (winemaker). Three friends with considerable experience in the wine world who one day decided to join forces and put their efforts into their own business and work towards an ambitious goal: to create comprehensible and affordable masterpieces. Our opinion: Well done! Whenever released, they have been amazing to say the least.

They produce white and red wines and Cava too in the Utiel-Requena region, where they have around 55 ha of vineyards, with limestone-clay soils and different varieties (9 in total), including the local one, the Bobal (old vineyards), but also the Burgundy Pinot Noir, from which they successfully produce excellent wine, despite this being a fairly hot growing area.

(The winery, still under construction and dating back two centuries, is being adapted to suit the wine-making requirements of today and is located on the estate itself).
