Bodegas Familia Chávarri

Bodegas Familia Chávarri is a family winery founded in 1882 by Francisco Chávarri, an enterprising man of the time with a great business vision. This led him to establish himself as a winemaker, acquiring the first number of the Rioja Alavesa Bottling Register. This concern for the world of wine has been instilled generation after generation and today, they want to maintain this determined and inspiring spirit for future generations.

The main winery is located in the Alavesa town of Lapuebla de Labarca (Rioja) as well as their vineyards, although they also have their own winery and vineyards in Roa (Ribera Del Duero) and in Pontevedra (Rías Baixas).

Their philosophy as a family and winery go hand in hand, to reflect in their wines the knowledge and passion they put into each one of them. Tradition, combined with the help of new technologies, allows them to create great experiences through great wines.
