José Antonio Martínez, a man tireless in his efforts and a complete perfectionist, began to choose vineyards for making his own wines in 1994, and since then he has been continually innovating and experimenting on the land, working on the principle that you can only make the best wine from the best grapes. His philosophy combines ancient expertise with the most modern technology. This results in wines of excellent quality, marketed under the names of Altún, Everest and Albiker (with the latter being a carbonic maceration red).
