Bodega Tintoralba

The Cooperativa Santa Quiteria winery, known as Tintoralba, is located in the Higueruela area (Albacete), in a region of vineyards at an altitude between 900 and 1,100 meters. The conditions of the soils, limestone and poor, and an extreme climate, with very cold winters and very hot summers during the day and cool at night, favor low productions and the process of ripening of the fruit, with great concentration of color, tannins and aromas. All this provides the grape with a high expression of the genetic characteristics, already outstanding in Garnacha Tintorera, the native wine variety of the area and a distinctive symbol of the winery.
