Poggio Trevvalle Morellino DùGalli

Dù Galli di Poggio Trevvalle is a red wine, in particular a Morellino distributed exclusively by Les Caves de Pyrene. It is made with Sangiovese harvested first, mainly from a parcel located halfway up the southern slope of the hill, on slightly more oxidized soils than the others. The nose has pleasant aromas of red fruit. The taste is affected by ripe tannins and balsamic notes that combine with flavors and aromas of cherry and blackberries. A wine that goes well with everything from a simple meal of bread and cold cuts to a pasta dish with rich sauce.
