The wine
La Gerla Rosso di Montalcino is a wine of absolute quality and pleasantness, with a bright ruby color and good consistency. The nose reveals a very elegant bouquet, rich in aromas of undergrowth, with evident red berry fruit and ripe cherry. On the palate it is harmonious and velvety, with good body and remarkable balance. Long and persistent, with a nice fruity aftertaste. It goes well with roasts and rich grilled red meats and pork. Due to its freshness, it is also suitable to accompany semi-aged cheeses.
