Spec sheet
The wine
Château La Croix Bonnelle is created with a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from vineyards growing in the clay and flint soils of Saint-Émilion. Produced by the oenologist Olivier Sulzer, well-known for his elegant and affordable wines, the result is a barely evolved wine, with an intense red colour and wonderful bouquet.
La Croix Bonnelle is a complex and warm wine with a delicate and varied range of aromas: undergrowth, humus, animal notes, spices and vanilla. It is a powerful and elegant wine with a strong personality and mature toasted tannins. Although it can be enjoyed immediately, the 2015 vintage will delight even the most demanding palates after ageing for a few more years.
