From one generation to another, this is how the history of the Quancard estate is written. Characters, personalities have marked each era, shaping a real dynastic epic with the red thread, Bordeaux wines, deep in the soil and heart, led by a horse, emblem of loyalty, wisdom and conquest.
At Château Cossieu-Coutelin, a dream fusion takes place between wine and oak, creating this ideal harmony where neither the woodiness, the roundness and the length are essential. It is in the prestigious Saint-Estèphe appellation, located in Haut-Médoc, that the vines of Château Cossieu-Coutelin, 60 km north-west of Bordeaux, extend over gravelly ridges which contribute to the production of a wine of exceptional quality. This renowned appellation hosts several Grands Crus Classés, such as Château Montrose or Château Cos d';Estournel.
A delicacy of the bouquet marrying woody and toasted nuances of aging in oak barrels with notes of fruit in brandy. A still firm and powerful mouth, built on pretty tannins guaranteeing an excellent aging potential. A beautiful expression of a great terroir.
