Viña Valdemazón

For many generations, Ernesto and Eduardo Martín’s family had devoted their time and energy to grape-growing in Olivares de Duero (Valladolid), but it was not until 2006 that they embarked upon creating their own winery: Viña Valdemazón, into which these two brother threw all their hopes, efforts and hard work to produce a wine that comes up with “the real essence of this land”.

The bodega has been built in family-owned buildings and warehouses made of stone, adobe and brick, which were once used as a wine-press by their forbears in centuries gone by, and have now been reformed and refurbished with modern installations that incorporate the best technology available – yet never losing sight of tried and tested traditional methods.

Harvesting in their vineyards is carried out manually, with only the best grapes chosen. The tanks used have a capacity of 5,000 litres, while the barrels are Allier French oak.
