The "cru" Neromoro was born in 2001 from an exciting research experience and from a particular selection of Montepulciano grapes of a single plot, an over 45-year-old vineyard grown in the Abruzzo pergola. It extends over a ridge where it enjoys excellent ventilation and exposure to the east. The particular biotype of Montepulciano and the age of the vines offer us grapes rich in polyphenols, while the low yields per hectare guarantee perfect ripeness. It is the result of an old vineyard which brings with it the past and its peasant origins. It is the most representative wine of Nicodemi, a traditional but incredibly complete reading of Montepulciano: sanguine and elegant, passionate but refined.
