Clos de l'Obac

The variation in vines grown around the town of Gratallops and the fine work carried out by the winery’s technical staff are key to this powerful, structured and complex wine.

The grapes used in the making of Clos de l’Obac are from various estates at Els Planassos, La Vinya Gran, la Coma de Dalt, La Coma de Baix, el Bellvís, La Capella and el Camí de Lloar, all of which have different orientations and heights.

Composed of five varieties, it is the old vine Cariñenas, aged over 50 years old, along with a sizeable percentage of Garnacha that confer on this wine a fine balance between power and refinement, thereby endowing a unique personality to its collective whole.

Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
