Château Reynon

Château Reynon is the legacy of Denis Dubourdieu, one of the most renowned and emblematic oenologists in Bordeaux. Denis passed away in the summer of 2016 but leaves a long history behind him; he inherited Château Doisy Daëne, as well as being the owner of Château Reynon and Clos Floridène, and a consultant for other great wineries such as Château d'Yquem, Château Cheval Blanc, and Bodegas Chivite among others. As well as his wines, he enjoyed an admired and rewarding career as Professor of Oenology at the University of Bordeaux and is remembered as one of the most prestigious scientists in the world of wine. He specialized in producing white wines, and his techniques and skills have placed some of his wines among the most well-known and popular ones in AOC Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux.

A wonderful example of Denis Dubourdieu's excellent work, this Château Reynon boasts an exceptional style with fresh fruit to the front, but also with a great combination of strength, balance, and subtle flavours. It offers an intense colour and smooth aromas of liquorice, blackcurrants and smoky hints, with a velvety texture in the mouth and elegant and powerful flavours.
