The wine

Red Casamatta comes from the younger vineyards of the company, from Sangiovese grapes. Traditional in its complexity and roundness, but modern in its fruity taste, in its accessibility and tannic softness, it is characterized by a young and crunchy, highly drinkable profile. It is the entry wine of Bibi Graetz, one of the most intelligent masters and experimenters of Tuscan wine.

At sight it has an intense ruby red color with nuances that fade towards purple; fruity notes of ripe red fruit intertwine with floral scents of freshly picked violets and references of aromatic herbs, creating a rich and enveloping aromatic bouquet. The sip is fresh and juicy, the tannic texture is balanced and barely touched which leads the product to be characterized by great drinkability. This wine is excellent to be consumed in moments of conviviality and throughout the meal. It goes perfectly with red meats, game, cold cuts and cold cuts, savory pies and aged cheeses.

Bibi Greatz, is known in the Italian wine scene for being the artist producer. Having grown up in a cosmopolitan family of artists, he was able to learn the beauty that a life dedicated to art can give. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, he decided to combine his two greatest passions into a single activity: in 2000, destiny allowed him to harvest and produce his own wine. This was the beginning of a great career and one of the most creative wineries in Tuscany and Italy. His artistic talent, Bibi expresses it through his beautiful labels, his abstract designs, and the memorable names he gave to his wines. Among the most famous: Testamatta and Casamatta.
