Colorino

This typical Tuscan vine owes its name to the richness of colour and polyphenols, but it seems to have a wild origin. It is usually in some expressions of Chianti and Chianti Classico, precisely to give greater chromatic density to the Sangiovese. It has a pretty good structure but little acidity, and does not exist as a single variety; its relative softness contributes to smoothing out the youthful angularity of the Sangiovese.
