Passerina

Passerina, a white grape native to the Marche and Abruzzo region, is winning over many enthusiasts for its disarming and uninhibited simplicity. It owes its name to the fact that its grapes, of good concentration, are a delicious meal for the birds chirping among the vineyards. It belongs to the trebbiani family and, like all of them, has very ancient origins. It benefits from the Adriatic climate - Mediterranean, basically -, mitigated by the breezes of the sea and the Apennine hills. The resulting wine is a straw-yellow still white wine with fragrant citrus notes and aromas of yellow fruit. On the palate it expresses a pleasant fruity freshness, accompanied by good sapidity. It is also very good in the spumante version thanks to its pronounced acidity, and especially the Charmat method to fully preserve its refined and immediate bouquet.
