The wine

Murmuri is the first white wine from Mas Doix, a combination of white grapes dominated by the white grenache of old vineyards and dotted with macabeo and some other minority variety in the vineyard. The wine rested with its fine lees for three months, but was not aged in any wood. Thus, its fine creaminess and its aromas of white fruit, flowers and fennel are explained. The palate is vibrant, almost light, thanks to a fantastic acidity and intense minerality. It combines freshness with great aromatic persistence and moves away from the usual bulky whites in the region. It will continue to grow in each and every one of the 2,700 bottles made.
