Wines perfectly suited to summer |

In summer weather, the wines with most appeal are light reds, dry whites (as well as off-dry and aromatic wines, ideal to drink as an aperitif), not forgetting rosés and sparkling wines: we look for easy-drinking, pleasant-tasting wines that refresh our palates.
When it comes to reds, the ones best suited to higher temperatures are 'young', the so-called 'joven' wines, or those aged for a short while: lightly structured, very juicy wines, with an attractive fruity nose, but not overly complex. Served slightly chilled (at a temperature of about 14 degrees), they are ideally suited to serve alongside light summer dishes, or simply to enjoy as a glass of wine with friends.
We have suggested below a collection of wines that would be the perfect solution for serving at any casual or special dining occasion occurring in the last few days of July or during the month of August. It would be a good idea to have a wine cooler on hand, or wine bucket chilled with cold water and plenty of ice. Here's to enjoying the summer!
