Their good qualities also stem from low production, almost hand-crafted wine making and prices that are extremely reasonable for their quality. This has meant that they disappear off the shelves as fast as they arrive, when they actually get there.
Utreia Mencía is the new wine from the Valtuille project, an oaked Bierzo, and an excellent opportunity to learn about the fine work of this promising young oenologist. (Aged for 12 months in new and second year French oak barrels.)
