Pruno is the youngest of the Villacreces wines, not with regard to its ageing (12 months in oak) but considering its newness and character, so fresh and fruity, much easier to appreciate and more full-bodied in flavour.
The fruit used in production is the first to be harvested and comes from the younger vineyards, with vines aged up to 20 years-old, planted in different parcels around the estate. The wine reflects the typical qualities of the distinct soils and retains these refinements on the palate. Needless to say, here is an excellent opportunity to start getting to know the fine work of this winery.
