Its deep, distinctly clear, intense and extremely complex aromas turn this wine into one of the most attractive of the many produced at the winery. In spite of its obvious strength, the wine carries its potency in a delicate, subtle and pleasant way.
Intensely ruby-red in colour with brick-red hues on the rim, it displays elegantly interwoven notes of spices, leather and tobacco on the nose. Harmonious and most pleasing in the mouth, its powerfulness and flavour leave a memorable, lasting impression of a very elegant wine with great persistence.
Aged for 12 months in 16,000-litre capacity oak vats, thirty-six months in oak barrels, and thirty-six months in bottle.
