Lalama is made from Mencia, Brancellao and Garnacha Tintorera grapes that come from several vineyards ranging in age from 15 to 100 years old, and planted in soils of varied composition: slate, clay and granite, at altitudes of between 300 and 700 metres.
NOTE: Decanting is recommended. Due to bottling without filtration, some solid residue can occur.
Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrel. Aged on its lees for 16 months in French oak barrels, for 4 months in casks, and subsequently for 18 months in bottle.
