The wine

Idrias Sevil is the winery’s oldest family member; a very elegant wine, as we have come to expect from Joan Milá. A wine which, after undergoing malolactic fermentation in tank, rests patiently for 16 months in new oak barrels made in Central Europe. The result is an intense, satisfyingly rich and balanced wine with great cellaring potential.

In appearance it is a Morello cherry colour with violet hues denoting its great potential. The nose is intense, exuding aromas of ripe black fruit with mineral hints and very well-amalgamated notes from the oak ageing. On the palate it is balanced, intense and flavoursome, with pleasant tannins. There is a good balance between the fruit and the wood, along with plenty of length and persistence.
