Made with the grape variety that gave its name to an entire region, Mataró.
A dark crimson-red colour, the wine displays aromas of preserved fruits on the nose (plums, dried figs and Italian cherry tomatoes), orange peel and Japanese green tea. Unctuous, extremely tasty and balanced on the palate, it combines acidity with sweetness.
Maceration for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, and subsequently aged for 2 months in French oak barrels.
