Named after the emerald colour of the Mediterranean Sea, this is mainly a Moscatel (85%) wine with Gewürztraminer (15%) carefully blended in. As is usual Torres procedure, the most suitable growing conditions have been found for these particular varieties, meaning that the grapes are sourced from vineyards located in the Upper Penedès.
There is plenty of perfume on the nose, exuding delicate floral and fragrant aromatic aromas, with the Gewürztraminer providing a notable spicy touch. Fresh, characterful, and expressing fruity varietal flavours on the palate, it offers particularly good value for money.
