Having achieved for five consecutive years the distinction of being the “Best Rum in the World” in the Caribbean international rum festival week, Ron Zacapa is living proof of just how far the art of producing this spirit is capable of going.
The rum is made from a blend of the highest quality rums, aged separately over many years (the oldest vintage has been aged for 23 years) in Guatemala's high mountains.
Dense and syrupy in appearance, the nose exudes unmistakeable aromas of honey which blend perfectly with those from oak-ageing. Smooth, sweetly-flavoured and very luscious on the palate, it has a long, elegant finish.
