Review and tasting notes* :
Craft beer made in Lierganes, Cantabria. High fermentation beer, Pale Ale style, with an emphasis on American hops (Simcoe and Cascade). Deep golden orange color. From shiny, small, steady bubble. From cream-permanent lather. Beer very aromatic. Highlights caramel notes providing barley (Caragold) offset by citrus notes (orange, grapefruit) and ripe peach. First taste is fresh, sweet-bitter good balance, with excellent acidity. American hops used return the found fruit expression on the nose, ending in a fine and friendly bitterness (55 Ibu s).
We value Dougall s 942 as a beer balanced, fresh, amazingly aromatic without being overly bitter. A high-flying APA, with only 4.2% vol.alc, full of quality and taste.
