Bodegas y Viñedos PujanzaRioja, Spain
A recently established winery although one with a long family tradition in vine-growing and winemaking, belonging to the San Pedro dynasty. Carlos San Pedro, the owner and technical director, has been handed down this expertise and added his competences to it: ambition kept well in check by patience, astuteness, intuition and awareness.
They have 18 hectares of Tempranillo aged from 15 to 80 years old, and divided into three parcels, Valdepoleo, El Norte for making their reds Pujanza, Pujanza Norte, Cisma and their latest, Hado. Plus the San Juan de Anteportalatina vineyard where the raw material originates from for making the Añadas Frías white.
As a result of his hard graft and effort, Carlos San Pedro has joined forces with the Navascués family in Viñedos de Mancuso.
