The Kristančič family has owned Movia since 1820. The winery possesses around 20 hectares of vineyards and is located in the Goriška Brda area, the denomination which lies within the wine-growing region of Primorska and closest to neighbouring Italy, and the one which boasts the most diverse geographical landscape.
Movia adheres strictly to biodynamic and hand-crafted methods, in an effort to capture the best expression of the terroir, complete naturalness, and unusual longevity in their wines.
