Pagos de Matanegra

A winery located right in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region, where the quality of the soil, sun and humidity create a microclimate that proves very favourable for growing Tempranillo grapes.

Its name originates from lands considered exceptionally good for producing wine from this variety.

Matanegra is a small production bodega, where every step of the wine-making process is taken with consummate care and great dedication in order to produce wines that bear, as they themselves profess: “our heart and soul, the expertise of our winemaker and tons of enthusiasm”.
