Cap NegreRoussillon, FranceThe oenologist Josep Anton Llaquet, with wine-producing experience in Catalonia and Mexico, joined up with three wine-loving associates to undertake the restoration of an area of vine growing that was about to disappear. The vineyards are situated in Feulluns, to the north-east of the Roussillon region, at an altitude of 500m, and lie facing southwards. This is a normally quiet area although it can be affected at times by the strong northerly Tramontana wind. The soil is granite and chalk, and every effort is made to use a minimum of treatments and only those essential for the vines. This project is founded on respect for the land, local customs and the language too (the back label text is written in the Occitan language). The picture on the label shows a typical stone found in the vineyards.
