Buying wines En Primeur (Wine Futures)

The purchase of wine en primeur (also known as Wine Futures) involves purchasing the wine before the winery sells it on through the normal distribution channels (specialized shops, restaurants, etc.).

By buying the wine en primeur, the customer not only ensures availability of the product, but also a substantially lower price, as in some cases the regular prices of these wines could be 2 or even 3 times higher when they actually reach the market.

Wines are sold en primeur at Vinissimus under the following conditions:

• You pay for the wine at the moment you place the order, although the wine will not be shipped until we have received it from the winery (usually after 12-24 months, depending on the wine and producer).
• With the only limit being the number of bottles that we have been assigned for each wine, you may buy as many as you like, without the need to purchase complete cases (usually required when purchasing this way).
• Orders for any wines en primeur may only be paid for by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer, cash on delivery will not be acceptable.
• The prices of the wines are inclusive of 18% VAT (for destinations where this tax applies) but EXCLUSIVE of delivery charges. Shipping costs will be payed at the time when the wines are being prepared for shipment (our Customer Service Department will contact the buyer to notify the arrival of the wines. Payment of the delivery charges will then be requested).
